On May 9, 2026, VOL (Barcelona) hosts infinite bisous. Behind the alias is Rory McCarthy, an Irish-English producer and multi-instrumentalist and co-founder of the online collective Tasty Morsels. After a period of creative hiatus, he returns to live performance to preview épi, his fourth album scheduled for spring 2026.

Since 2013, McCarthy has been weaving an intimate, undulating pop—situated between oblique songcraft and psychedelic hues: discreet rhythms, flexible harmonies, and production that shapes textures without saturating them. That lo-fi pulse coexists with a melodic sensibility that, live, unfolds in an intimate format for attentive listening.

His path has crossed with Connan Mockasin, Mac DeMarco, Beck, Metronomy and Flavien Berger, and he has received nods from Ryuichi Sakamoto, Iggy Pop and Oneohtrix Point Never. His discography includes W/ Love (2017), which features songs heard in the series High Maintenance, Period (2019) and Any-Day-Now (2022). In Barcelona he will present new pieces alongside selections from his earlier work, with minimal arrangements, whispered vocals and shifts of color that move forward unhurriedly, inviting listeners to lose themselves in the detail and warmth of his music.
