Two Door Cinema Club

Two Door Cinema Club comes to Marbella on 10 July 2026 at Marbella Arena. The trio, formed in 2007 between Bangor and Donaghadee by Alex Trimble, Sam Halliday and Kevin Baird, delivers pop‑tinged indie rock with echoes of the post‑punk revival and electronic textures. Live, they rely on short, tightly structured songs, melodic guitars, upbeat rhythms and synthesizers that push the set toward the dancefloor without losing the band’s edge.

Since Tourist History (2010), their repertoire has progressively opened up to synths and a more pop songwriting approach with Beacon (2012, produced with Jacknife Lee), before embracing new wave, disco and electronic influences on Gameshow (2016) and False Alarm (2019). Keep On Smiling (2022) consolidates that blend, alternating danceable tracks with more restrained cuts. On stage, Two Door Cinema Club condense this trajectory into a flow that crosses club beats and guitars, with Trimble’s clear voice up front and a rhythmic backbone that sustains the tension. A show designed to work live, alternating direct bursts and passages that breathe.
