Kybba

Kybba lands at Santana 27, Bilbao, on May 15, 2026 with a basshall proposal that crosses dancehall, afrobeat, Caribbean inflections and bass culture. Behind the alias is Francesco De Nigris (1994), raised in Salento, Italy amid Caribbean, Latin American and urban sounds. As a teenager he began DJing and organizing free parties with the Bulldog Jump Crew; later he moved to Amsterdam, where he honed a hybrid sound that led him in 2016, together with Limitless, Tribal Kush and Flava One, to found Basshall Records, the label and home for the style they christened basshall.

Behind the decks, Kybba has played stages across Europe and Latin America and has appeared at events such as Amsterdam Dance Event and Tomorrowland. In the studio he stretches the canvas of dancehall toward the club and pop, with collaborations alongside Blaiz Fayah, Konshens, Major Lazer, Diplo and Ryan Castro. His album How You Bad Suh (2025) condenses that search and outlines a clear identity: Jamaican-rooted rhythms filtered through heavy bass pressure and the energy of the European club. In Bilbao he will present that blend of tempos and textures, with his own selections and productions that move comfortably between perreo, dembow and electronic pulse.
