Massive Attack

Info

Massive Attack bring their Bristol-born sound to Royal Arena Copenhagen on 1 June 2026. Emerging from The Wild Bunch and the city’s sound system culture, the group helped define a slow, bass-led blend of hip-hop, soul, dub and electronics often linked to the rise of UK trip hop. Today led by Robert “3D” Del Naja and Grant “Daddy G” Marshall, the project is known for live sets that work like a continuum: meticulous production, stark visuals, and grooves that hold back the tempo to let the low end and textures take over.

On stage, the band moves between atmospheric instrumentals and songs carried by distinct guest voices from their catalogue, with tracks drawn from Blue Lines, Protection, Mezzanine, 100th Window and Heligoland. Expect deep basslines, shadowy synths, clipped beats and melodies that unfold slowly, with familiar pieces often reworked to fit the mood of the night. The show leans on contrast and detail rather than volume, building intensity through space, rhythm and visual cues. A focused dive into the Massive Attack method, in Copenhagen for one night at Royal Arena.
