Konkhra play Tapperiet in Køge on March 20, 2026. Formed at the end of the 80s around guitarist-singer Anders Lundemark, the Copenhagen-area group built its place in Danish extreme metal with a death metal sound driven by groove and often medium tempos. From early demos to the debut album Sexual Affective Disorder (1993), they shaped a style that sometimes leans into thrash and heavier, groove-metal structures. Lineups have changed, Lundemark stays the core: dense, palm-muted riffs, abrasive vocals, and a rhythm section that locks tight.

The late 90s and 2000s brought Weed Out the Weak (1997) with guests from the international scene, followed by Come Down Cold (1999) and Reality Check (2003). After a quieter spell, Nothing Is Sacred (2009) and Alpha and the Omega (2019) continued a direct, riff-centered thread. On stage, that catalogue turns into a focused set built on weight, pulse and churn, anchored in the Scandinavian extreme tradition.
