Årets Julekoncert med Stig Rossen

On 29 November 2026 at Svendborg Teater in Svendborg, Stig Rossen returns with his annual Christmas concert, joined by a guest soloist. A Danish singer and actor rooted in musical theatre, he made his mark in London in Les Misérables, first in the ensemble then as Jean Valjean. Back in Denmark, he shifts easily between stage roles and solo work, moving from melodic pop to standards and ballads.

Rossen’s holiday set draws on the Christmas repertoire he has cultivated since the 1990s, mixing Danish and English songs. The evening blends familiar carols, seasonal evergreens and a few nods to the musicals that shaped his voice, carried by arrangements that alternate between orchestral breadth and more intimate textures. Many will also recognise his timbre from the Danish version of Disney’s The Lion King.

The guest soloist brings fresh harmonies and duet moments, opening the program to new colours while keeping the clear, narrative focus that characterises Rossen’s concerts.
