On May 18, 2026, at Fan Park in Edmonton, French DJ and producer Hugel brings a sound honed between Marseille and the international circuit, moving from his early vocal house and dance-pop into a leaner, percussion-driven tech house. He first broke through in the mid-2010s, then broadened his audience with Robin Schulz on I Believe I’m Fine (2017), his Bella Ciao remix for El Profesor (2018) and WTF with Amber Van Day (2018). Since 2020, the focus has tilted toward DJ sets, sharpening a style where Latin inflections, clipped chants and tight basslines set the pace. Morenita with Cumbiafrica (2021) captures that blend, mixing bright melodies with structures tailored to the dancefloor. On stage, his selections tend to weave radio-shaped hooks with late-night momentum, stacking grooves and call-and-response vocals while keeping the low end in charge.
