Véronique Gallo « La vraie vie »

Véronique Gallo returns with La vraie vie (The Real Life), the final installment of a trilogy devoted to what really happens to us, far from Instagram’s orderly images or Netflix’s scripted scenarios. A writer and actress, she unfolds a series of scenes drawn from everyday life: appointments that go off the rails, unforeseen events that upset the schedule, micro-conflicts and last-minute adjustments. Her frank writing and direct engagement with the audience are rooted in observation, somewhere between a chronicle and stand-up, mapping those moments when we must change plans and learn to adapt.

Here, life moves forward like a journey that takes sudden turns, and it is in those detours that a portrait of an era and of our ways of staying the course is sketched. Written and performed by Véronique Gallo, directed by Jean Lambert, lighting design by Laurent Kaye and Hugo Franquin. La vraie vie will be at Théâtre Chanzy in Angers on 13 January 2027.
