Goldmen - Concert Best of Goldman

On December 9, 2028, at the Zénith Sud in Montpellier, Les Goldmen return to the stage with a Best Of dedicated to Jean-Jacques Goldman and the trio Fredericks Goldman Jones. Seven musicians bring back a repertoire that has stood the test of time, performed in the original keys with faithful arrangements. On vocals, Alain Stevez takes on Goldman’s parts with a timbre that echoes their contours; Sabrina Belmo contributes the colour and power associated with Carole Fredericks’ legacy. Guitars, keyboards and the rhythm section serve choruses crafted for the live setting, between ballads and more driving numbers. The programme features must-hear songs such as Quand la musique est bonne, Je te donne, Un, deux, trois, Né en 17 à Leidenstadt, À nos actes manqués, and other tracks that helped shape the catalogue. Not a rewriting for its own sake, but a precise sonic approach centred on the voices and the collective drive, aiming to recapture the emotion of the original versions while keeping the energy of a clearly contemporary band.
