Inhaler

On 22 June 2026, Inhaler will play SPOT/De Oosterpoort in Groningen. The Irish quartet from Dublin — Eli Hewson, Josh Jenkinson, Robert Keating and Ryan McMahon — delivers a mix of pop-rock and indie with new wave accents. Live, the emphasis is on clear guitar lines, driving rhythms and choruses that linger. The set draws from the debut It Won’t Always Be Like This and the follow-up Cuts & Bruises, in which the band expands its songwriting and makes room for Britpop melancholy.

Influences ranging from U2 to The Killers surface now and then, but on stage Inhaler chiefly seeks its own balance between melody and tension. Newer and older tracks shift smoothly between immediate hooks and more introspective passages. Without excess, with tight transitions and harmonies as an anchor, the show focuses on what carries the songs: dynamics, texture and rhythm. An evening for those who want to hear where the band stands now — closer to the songs than to spectacle.
