Punk Rock Factory

Punk Rock Factory will play on 4 April 2026 at Metropool, Hengelo. The Welsh quartet runs well-known melodies from animation, TV series, films, games and musicals through their own pop-punk machine: fast guitars, tight drums and massive gang vocals, with arrangements that stay close to the original but sound like fresh, melodic punk. Since their inception the band has worked largely autonomously in the studio, producing a steady stream of covers that first appear online and later end up on record.

That approach has produced a series of themed albums that colour their setlist: A Whole New Wurst (2020) with Disney songs, Masters of the Wurst (2021) focusing on theme tunes and film tracks, Scene This? (2021) featuring ’90s and ’00s rock and pop, and It’s Just a Stage We’re Going Through (2023) devoted to musicals. Live, the band translates that studio energy to the stage: uptempo, compact and singalong-friendly without frills, with arrangements that keep their studio versions tight but leave just enough rough edge for the room. Expect an evening where recognition and energy alternate, drawn from a catalogue they continue to expand with new digital releases and tour stops.
