Arlo Parks brings the Desire Tour to History, 1663 Queen Street East, Toronto, on September 4, 2026. Between indie pop contours and hushed soul, the London songwriter folds poetry, spoken word and pared-down R&B rhythms into intimate songs that explore friendship, desire and the edges of growing up. Emerging with Cola and the EPs Super Sad Generation and Sophie, she has since sketched a clear path with Collapsed in Sunbeams (2021) and My Soft Machine (2023), keeping the arrangements lean and the storytelling close to the bone.

On stage, Parks leans into that understated groove: soft guitar lines, subtle beats, harmonies that leave space, and lyrics delivered with a diaristic calm.
