Pacifica, the Argentina-based duo of Inés Adam and Martina Nintzel, brings a guitar-forward take on alternative rock with direct, melodic hooks. Formed in 2021 after a chance invite to play a song together, they first surfaced online with stripped-down covers of 2000s rock, including The Strokes, before shifting toward their own material. Their 2023 debut album, Freak Scene, fixed on record a sound shaped by garage and indie influences, with concise tracks built on tight riffs and close vocal interplay. Since then, the pair has taken their songs on tour across Latin America and Europe, refining a lean two-piece setup that keeps the focus on dynamics and chemistry.
