Goldmen - Concert Best of Goldman

Goldmen brings Jean-Jacques Goldman’s repertoire back to the stage with a Best Of tour. On 5 February 2028 at Le Colisée in Chartres, the French tribute band will perform Goldman’s signature songs and those of the trio Fredericks Goldman Jones in their original keys, with faithful arrangements and a live energy that puts the songs front and center. Alain Stevez carries the lead vocal, very close to the singer-songwriter’s timbre, while Sabrina Belmo revives Carole Fredericks’ vocal presence—balancing power and nuance—to restore the harmonic equilibrium that defined the 1980s–90s.

On stage, the seven musicians deliver a tight run-through of the classics: Quand la musique est bonne, Je te donne, Un, deux, trois, Né en 17 à Leidenstadt, À nos actes manqués, and other tracks that have crossed generations. The set alternates between unifying hits and more intimate numbers, with particular attention paid to the backing vocals and dynamics. The concert is designed to immerse listeners again in Goldman’s direct songwriting and effective melodies, driven by a precise sound and an interpretation that prioritizes the song, without artifice.
