Quest Master comes from Australia and delves into a heroic, medieval imagination. The music builds on melodic synth lines, misty textures and repetitive motifs reminiscent of 1990s role‑playing game soundtracks. Albums such as The Twelve Castles (2020) and Sword Stained with Crimson (2021) are conceived as a continuous narrative: instrumental chapters that pass by castles, forests and imaginary quests. Live, that narrative thread remains central, with compositions that unfold step by step without feeling forced.
Orcus is a British dungeon‑synth project that focuses on atmosphere and detail. Dark harmonies and spare themes gradually unfurl, layer by layer, until a compact, cinematic pulse emerges. Not a grand gesture, but rather a steady current that keeps the imagination awake.
Segadeath represents the Dutch side of the bill. The set centers on clear melodies, tight patterns and a focus on timbre. Rhythmic pulses and short motifs interlock and keep the tension taut, moving between ambient‑like passages and more linear synth lines.
