Black Sea Dahu - Everything-tour

On 24 October 2026, Black Sea Dahu brings the Everything tour to SPOT/De Oosterpoort in Groningen. Around singer-songwriter Janine Cathrein, the Swiss outfit builds its indie-folk sound layer by layer: a low, warm voice placed front and center in the mix, spare guitars, measured percussion and strings that let the melodies breathe. The project began in Zurich and grew from an intimate songwriting workshop into a flexible collective that switches live between a stripped-down setup and a broader sonic palette.

Expect slow, carefully composed songs that revolve around lyrics, phrasing and vocal harmonies. From White Creatures (2018) and the EP No Fire In The Sand the band’s acoustic core is audible, while I Am My Mother (2022) opens the door to wider structures and a slightly more electric color. On stage Black Sea Dahu weaves those chapters into a single continuous whole, leaving room for silences, small shifts in dynamics and harmonies that sustain the songs. An evening for listeners who like to be up close to the music — unadorned, but attentive to detail.
