The Vaccines

On 20 April 2026 The Vaccines will perform at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht. The London indie band formed in 2010 around singer-guitarist Justin Young, and their debut album, What Did You Expect from the Vaccines?, immediately established their name. Short buildups, clear hooks and guitar parts that hit straight away: that’s the register in which The Vaccines operate. A year later came Come of Age, and the band soon toured with the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Muse and Arcade Fire, while at the same time building their own audience across Europe.

On stage the songs move forward with pace and focus: verse, chorus, one more push, done. The set strings early favorites like If You Wanna and Post Break-Up Sex together with newer material, all delivered with the same mix of garage energy and power-pop melody. No frills — instead compact songs that leave room for harmonies and tight interplay. The Vaccines are coming to Utrecht with the familiar, direct sound that has distinguished them since their start.
