The Chicago producer and DJ, a pioneer and originator of acid house in the early 1980s, will be at the Cabaret Sauvage for a 3-hour set. At a time when “acid” was still just a pill, DJ Pierre would lock himself in his room to shape a sound that would leave a mark on the history of electronic music. In 1986, using his Roland TB-303, he created “Acid Tracks,” a landmark acid house record. Joining him, the producer duo from the De La Groove label, Chinau and Larry G, will round out a night defined by raw, hypnotic house.
