Poni Hoax (live instrumental) + Arthur Fu Bandini

Poni Hoax makes its return in a 100% instrumental, dancefloor-ready live show, with a tighter set focused on its most disco, edgy and melodic tracks. See you on 15 April 2026 at Bal Chavaux in Montreuil. The evening is dedicated to Nicolas Ker, with Arthur Fu Bandini opening.

Poni Hoax
Born in the early 2000s around Laurent Bardainne, the band carved out a path between disco, new wave and mutant jazz, from their first album on Tigersushi to Images of Sigrid, followed by two records on Pan European. After the 2021 halt following the death of Nicolas Ker, Poni Hoax has reformed with Laurent Bardainne, Nicolas Villebrun, Arnaud Roulin and Vincent Taeger. On stage, the quartet reinvents its repertoire without vocals, pushes its rhythmic lines toward the club and revisits its nocturnal atmospheres, somewhere between the shadows of Roxy Music and Taxi Girl.

Arthur Fu Bandini
Songwriter, composer and performer, he opens the evening with forthright lyrics and an energy that bends punk, post‑rock and minimal electronics. Inspired by The Clash, Ian Dury, Sleaford Mods, Suicide, Leonard Cohen and Viagra Boys, he moves forward propelled by a deep voice and a gripping sense of phrasing. Marked by Nicolas Ker’s legacy, he plays close to the words and the rhythm, between poetry, irony and cathartic tension.
