Myrath

On October 15, 2026, at Le Ferrailleur in Nantes, Myrath will take the stage to present their progressive metal steeped in North African and Middle Eastern influences. Formed in 2001 in Ezzahra, the band has crafted a signature sound at the crossroads of power metal and oriental metal, where technical riffs, carefully worked orchestrations and vocals rooted in Arabic modes intertwine. Anchored by founding guitarist Malek Ben Arbia and the voice of Zaher Zorgati, the group delivers a set that spans its various phases — from the early tracks of Hope to the more cinematic textures of Legacy and Shehili, up to the recent compositions from Karma (2024). On stage, Myrath strikes a balance between rhythmic tension and melody, alternating heavy surges, atmospheric breaths and Middle Eastern–inflected motifs. The repertoire highlights precise arrangements, razor-sharp guitars and vocal lines drawn from Arabic modes, resulting in a concert propelled by an aesthetic firmly rooted between the Maghreb and the Middle East.
