Info
On August 4, 2026 at Rogers Stadium in Toronto, Foo Fighters roll in with the Take Cover Tour, condensating three decades of straight-ahead rock into a set built for volume and momentum. Formed by Dave Grohl in the mid-90s and solidified around Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett and Rami Jaffee, the band navigates from the taut hooks of The Colour and the Shape to the garage-born punch of Wasting Light, while folding in the more intimate tone of But Here We Are. Sharp riffs, tight dynamics and melodic lines that stick without fuss set the framework for a show that moves fast and hits clean.
Queens of the Stone Age bring their desert-forged groove with a focus on riffs that circle and bite. From Rated R to Songs for the Deaf and through In Times New Roman…, Josh Homme et al. play with tension and release: falsetto lines over thick guitars, rhythmic patterns that lock in and tilt toward a lean, danceable rock. The set balances stoner roots with a cooler, textural edge, keeping the pulse steady and the guitars front and center.
Mannequin Pussy opens with Philly punk urgency. Led by Marisa “Missy” Dabice alongside Colins “Bear” Regisford and Kaleen Reading, the group flips between hardcore flashes and melodic breaks, echoing the contrasts of Patience and the sharpened writing of I Got Heaven. Short tracks, abrupt shifts and a live rapport honed in clubs set the tone before the volume climbs.
