Info

The Lemon Twigs bring their sharp ear for classic pop craft to The Concert Hall in Toronto on April 25, 2026. Formed on Long Island by brothers Brian and Michael D’Addario, the band blends 60s and 70s touchstones with tight vocal harmonies, brisk tempo shifts and melodic hooks. On stage, the two switch between guitar, bass, drums and keys, supported by a fuller lineup that keeps the arrangements flexible and precise.

Across their records, the duo has traced a clear line from ornate, retro-leaning ideas to leaner pop rock. Do Hollywood (2016) introduced their dense songwriting and ear for arrangement, followed by the rawer Brothers of Destruction EP (2017). Go to School (2018) pushed their narrative ambitions with an operatic edge, while Songs for the General Public (2020) tightened the focus around guitars and concise choruses. With Everything Harmony (2023) and A Dream Is All We Know (2024), they pivot toward a more melancholic pop, rich in ballads and layered vocals.

Live, that spectrum shows up in sharp relief: harmony-heavy ballads sit next to punchier power-pop cuts, with quick instrument swaps and close-quarters singing shaping the flow. It’s a set that highlights craft, agility and a taste for classic forms reworked with a restless energy.
