Info
On April 30, 2026, Leith Ross plays The Concert Hall in Toronto. Between intimate folk and plainspoken writing, their songs lean on a gentle voice, sparse arrangements and lyrics that probe identity, relationships and emotional fragility. Raised near Ottawa and identifying as non-binary, Ross began sharing music online before finding a place on the North American indie folk circuit. The acoustic EP Motherwell (2020) drew on family memories, faith and self-questioning. In 2022, We’ll Never Have Sex brought their minimal folk into wider view with a focus on consent and queer intimacy. To Learn (2023) gathered those tracks and new ones in a cohesive, pared-back frame that keeps storytelling at the center.
On stage, Ross often performs solo or with a small ensemble, keeping the sound light and close. Voice and guitar carry older and recent pieces with a restrained dynamic, leaving space for detail and narrative. At The Concert Hall, this stripped setup highlights the clarity of their melodies and the directness of their words, for a concert rooted in quiet intensity rather than volume.
