Info

On 21 February 2026 at La Palestre in Le Cannet, Alex Vizorek presents Je n’aime pas le Classique, the stage version of the concept popularized by the record Je n’aime pas le Classique, mais ça j’aime bien. A Belgian comedian and actor, he assumes the role of master of ceremonies and weaves a thread between witticisms, historical reference points and listening keys to guide the audience through several notable works from the repertoire. The idea is to tell the story of the music as much as to play it, without jargon, with a dose of pedagogy and the narrative sense that characterizes him.

On stage, Vizorek is surrounded by an ensemble of classical musicians. The solo violinist is Luka Faulisi; at the piano is Simon Ghraichy. They are joined by Julius Bernad on violin, Angèle Pungier on viola, Alec Fukuda on cello and Blanche Stromboni on double bass. The programme alternates spoken interventions and live musical excerpts, moving from one composer to another through anecdotes and specific contexts. It’s a format halfway between a narrated concert and musical stand-up, designed for both the curious and the regular concertgoer, where the meeting of humour and the classical repertoire takes shape on stage.
