Alestorm bring their pirate‑themed blend of power and folk metal to Edmonton on May 29, 2026 at Midway Music Hall. Formed in the mid‑2000s in Perth, Scotland, the band has carved out a catalog that sails between fast power‑metal riffs, folk accents and big, chant‑ready choruses. From Captain Morgan’s Revenge to Seventh Rum of a Seventh Rum, their songs trade in tales of naval battles, buried treasure and revelry, with keyboards and gang vocals pushing the melodies up front while the rhythm section stays quick and tight.
