Pierre-Emmanuel Barré « Come-Back »

Pierre-Emmanuel Barré returns with Come-Back, a show he both writes and performs, featuring visual and sound effects. The starting point: 2031, when the comedian has been written off as a has-been. To get back on stage he sets about creating a new show and asks himself what he still has to say. This situation provides the framework for a game of mirrors in which he probes the times, questions political correctness and pits his own obsessions against those of the audience.

Brought to prominence by his segments on France Inter and Le Petit Journal, Barré has established himself with dark humor, a blunt delivery and sharp writing. On stage he likes to tackle social issues, politics, religion and taboos, aiming for the line that lands rather than mere showmanship.
