After welcoming them separately in 2024, L’Affranchi brings 8ruki and Rowjay together on the same bill on April 17, 2026 in Marseille. 8ruki, a figure of the new wave of rap born online, draws his strength from a mix of trap, plug, rage and club-inflected sounds: nervous tempos, heavy bass, fragmented writing and autotune that slides his voice from rap to singing. Live, his repertoire plays like a club set, designed for the stage and the energy of the crowd.
Opposite him, Rowjay arrives from Montreal with a French-language trap that’s connected to North American rap and internet culture. With a laid-back flow, deadpan humor and nods to gaming, he switches between French, English and Italian-flavored references. His tracks rely on sparse, mid-tempo or slow productions led by bass and synths, created in collaboration with beatmakers from Montreal and francophone Europe.
