The Locos

On October 16, 2026, the John Lennon Cultural Center in Limoges brought together two figures of ska rock: The Locos (formerly of Ska-P) and Villa Fantôme. Celebrating twenty years on the road in 2025, The Locos put on a set that drew from their classics and emblematic SKA-P tracks, with a few extra covers. On stage, direct energy, brass and galloping guitars, choruses to sing along to. Costumes, confetti, festive atmosphere: the band stitched song after song together with no downtime.

Manu and Pierrot, drummer and singer who came from La Ruda Salska, which they founded in 1993, launched Villa Fantôme in 2020. The name conjures The Specials’ “Ghost Town” and traces a line of influences where ska brushes up against cold-wave. A soaring trumpet, colder keyboards, a tight groove: songs conceived for the live setting, between a Jamaican pulse and urban hues. Villa Fantôme embraces its outsider status and moves straight ahead, without affectation.
