GEORGE THOROGOOD and THE DESTROYERS - THE BADDEST SHOW ON EARTH

Info

George Thorogood & The Destroyers roll into River Cree Resort and Casino in Enoch, Canada, on March 20, 2026, with the lean, blues-driven rock that carried them from Delaware clubs to major tours. Formed in the mid-70s by singer-guitarist George Thorogood with drummer Jeff Simon, the band shaped a stripped-down sound built on slide guitar, tight riffs and a bar-band pulse. Early albums like the self-titled debut and Move It on Over mixed originals with cuts by John Lee Hooker, Elmore James or Chuck Berry; Bad to the Bone in 1982 defined their signature on stage and on record.

Years of road work, including the 50/50 Tour in 1981, locked in an approach of simple structures, brisk tempos and a set that swings between boogie, blues and rock and roll. The catalogue stretches through Maverick and Born to Be Bad, delivered with the economy and drive that keeps their live show centered on the essentials. A night built on groove, slide and no-frills rock, played by a band that treats the stage like home.
