On February 11, 2026, Summer Salt brings the Reside North America tour to The Mod Club in Toronto. The Austin outfit led by singer-guitarist Matthew Terry and drummer Eugene Chung crafts an indie pop that folds in surf shimmer, soft rock ease and a hint of bossa. From early DIY EPs to the albums Happy Camper (2018), Feel Good (2020), Sequoia Moon (2021) and Campanita (2023), their songs favor clean guitars, close harmonies and relaxed grooves. The writing sticks to everyday moments, movement and relationships, with a steady, unhurried pulse that carries the melodies without showiness.
Sharing the bill, Boyscott grew out of Nashville’s DIY scene around songwriter Scott Hermo. First a bedroom project, it became a flexible band threading melodic, surf-tinged guitars, lightly hushed vocals and basslines that drive the arrangements. Goose Bumps (2015) put the project on the map; The Float (2023) opens up the field with brighter pop detours, quiet passages and light psychedelic touches. On stage, the music leans on interlocking guitar motifs and subtle dynamic shifts, keeping the set intimate while letting the songs breathe.
