Born in Sweden, raised between London, Hong Kong and New York, and now based in Los Angeles, Maude Latour began writing at 15. She released her first EP, Starsick, in 2019, then followed with several projects that took her from online platforms to stages at Lollapalooza, Governors Ball and Austin City Limits. Her song “One More Weekend” rose to prominence during the lockdown and accelerated her rise. With Sugar Water, her debut album, she continues a pop songwriting approach that enjoys testing ideas in the studio, exploring textures, and catching the ear without sacrificing intimacy.
