Rakoon will be at La Puce à l’Oreille in Riom on June 12, 2026, presenting a hybrid electro-dub that navigates between electronic pulses and an organic breath. A French producer, he blends supple basslines, luminous keyboards and airy textures, then hooks a guitar onto the whole that traces clear, catchy melodies. His music moves forward without lyrics, balancing fleeting memories and a yearning for elsewhere, carried by a relaxed groove and themes that stick in the mind. On stage, Rakoon performs live, machines at his fingertips, loopers and synths in dialogue with his six-string. The tracks stretch out and tighten, take turns, leaving room for buildups as well as moments to breathe. No excess — a set designed to get people moving without jolting them, to unite without forcing, where dub serves as a compass and melody remains the guiding thread.
