Arnaud Demanche returns to the stage with a stand-up show designed for our image-saturated, comparison-driven age. A comedian and columnist, he draws on current events, web culture and everyday habits to examine what makes us measure ourselves against others — from endlessly looping feeds to media that fuel the pressure to “succeed.” After touring France with his previous show, he’s back on the road and will stop at the Ponant in Pacé on May 21, 2027. On stage he unpacks the demands to perform, scrutinizes our digital reflexes and flips the perspective with a direct sense of humor grounded in concrete observations and self-deprecation. Between jokes, digressions and slightly off-kilter character sketches, he weaves a thread that allows for reflection without losing momentum. Enough to let go of comparison for a moment and see our automatic behaviors in a new light.
