Christophe Maé

Christophe Maé returns to the concert stage with songs that move between pop, soul and folk-tinged accents. A singer-songwriter, he has planted his choruses in the musical landscape with “On s’attache”, “Il est où le bonheur”, “Belle demoiselle” and “Dingue, dingue, dingue”. Guitar and harmonica are never far away, and his pieces blend a relaxed groove, luminous melodies and everyday lyrics. On stage he alternates signature hits and new material, revisits his arrangements, lets the backing vocals and percussion breathe, and weaves a thread between his beginnings and his most recent albums.

The concert will take place on 14 January 2027 at the Arena du Pays d’Aix, in Aix-en-Provence. Surrounded by his musicians, Christophe Maé unfolds a set designed for the stage, with that direct way of addressing the audience and bringing the choruses to life. Between harmonica-led ballads, more upbeat rhythms and acoustic passages, his repertoire unfolds without unnecessary effects, with a simple, precise energy. It’s an opportunity to rediscover songs that have accompanied recent years and to hear others for the first time, in a format tailored to the venue.
