Lusaint

Originally from Manchester, Lusaint draws a clear line between jazz and soul, with a warm voice that evokes the great singers of the sixties without ever indulging in nostalgia. A singer-songwriter, she combines spare melodies with raw lyrics to tell of vulnerabilities, departures and what is reborn afterwards. Revealed by her debut EP Self Sabotage, she continued her exploration with The Apothecary (Pt.1), a more introspective new chapter where lost love becomes a catalyst for reconstruction. On stage, Lusaint favors simplicity, lets the arrangements breathe and creates an intimate atmosphere that places her voice at the center. She will be at the Transbordeur in Villeurbanne on 31 March 2026—an opportunity to hear the tracks from The Apothecary (Pt.1) live and to revisit the songs from Self Sabotage. A moment to enter her unadorned universe, between velvety ballads, soulful syncopations and that way of suspending time that is the true charm of her concerts.
