Alexis Le Rossignol « Le sens de la vie »

Info

On May 9, 2026, Alexis Le Rossignol presents “The Meaning of Life” at the Théâtre La Gaîté Rive Gauche in Paris. He draws his stories from everyday life and those grey areas where nothing seems to be happening, yet everything interlocks. From a memory of a horse named Sans plus and a desire that wasn’t really one, he unfolds tales on a human scale. He blends storytelling with a kind of “fridge philosophy,” stringing together short scenes, digressions and the questions we usually avoid: what do we do with our lives, how do we make our choices, our renunciations and the little evasions that keep us standing. His phrasing is clear, the writing precise, with that slant that sets the scene before twisting it just enough.

On stage he opens this new set like a notebook: personal fragments, field observations, absurd micro-logics, muted confidences. No grand theories, rather details that line up and illuminate the question without closing it. You hear inner dialogues, tiny lives, shaky plans, and Alexis’s small musical refrain, somewhere between gentle lucidity and feigned nonchalance. It’s an encounter in which he examines everyday life and its detours, without overstating the case.
