A few days after a concert at the Salle Pleyel, Mac DeMarco announced a series of dates in France for September 2026. The Canadian singer-songwriter will perform the album Guitar on stage, a minimalist folk record that has been available since August 22, 2025. Mac DeMarco will play at Le Silo in Marseille. Guitar was entirely written and recorded in November 2024 at his home in Los Angeles. With the exception of the mastering, carried out by David Ives, Mac DeMarco handled every aspect of the record: from recording to mixing (completed in Canada), as well as the music videos and the album cover, all created independently using tripods.
