Info
Sports, a dream-pop duo from Oklahoma formed by Cale Chronister and Christian Theriot, will play Le Point Éphémère in Paris on 29 October 2026. Their signature blends psychedelic textures, dreamy melodies and a supple rhythmic feel, producing songs that move between indie pop and shades of R&B. On stage, a groovy bass, metallic-tinged guitar and shimmering synths support straightforward, melodic songwriting.
The recent single "Keep Falling In Love" opens a new chapter. Recorded in a single day in Brighton, it explores a love that grows over time, with airy arrangements and a warm pulse. The track follows in the footsteps of "Nice 2 Meet Myself (Bang Bang Bang)" and "If You Want Me," two songs that reveal the duo’s more direct and playful side.
Sports are now self-producing their next album, a choice that refines their sound without erasing its dreamlike quality. In concert, the pair stretch these vaporous moods toward something more physical, between insistent basslines and synth pads that settle in slowly. It’s an invitation to dive into a world in motion, shaped by the rapport of two longtime collaborators.
