Opened on 28 April 1925 between the Grand Palais and the Invalides, the International Exposition reflects the creative ferment of a postwar society in the midst of transformation. A true springboard for the Art Deco style, it highlights visionary figures such as Auguste Perret, Henri Sauvage, Le Corbusier and Robert Mallet‑Stevens.
