Celkilt

Celkilt returns to the Espace Culturel in Rombas on March 20, 2026. The French band plays Celtic rock fuelled by punk and folk, driven by bagpipes, violin, guitars and a solid rhythm section. In kilts as usual, they cultivate a St. Patrick’s spirit year-round, between straightforward choruses and reworked traditional melodies. After their sold-out concert at the same venue in 2023, they hit the road again with a set that draws from their classics and recent songs, alternating accelerations, breaks, call-and-response vocals and high-energy instrumentals.

On stage, Celkilt gets straight to the point: tight, punchy riffs, concentrated energy and more folk-oriented passages where the bagpipes and violin take the lead. The format is designed for live performance, with a constant dialogue between the band and the audience. Ideal for those who enjoy guitars with a Celtic flavour, spontaneous sing-alongs and an Irish pub atmosphere, as well as for curious listeners who want to explore this French side of Celtic rock.
