Olivier de Benoist « Le droit au bonheur »

Info

On April 10, 2026, at the Salle Bleue - Halle des Expositions Palavas Les Flots, Olivier de Benoist presents a show centered on his life as a partner and father. A French comedian, he starts from a simple idea: he was looking for happiness and found a family. Rather than seeing this as a dead end, he turns it into the starting point of a quest for bliss, where contradictions, compromises and the small daily cowardices become material for storytelling. He unfolds a series of domestic anecdotes, examines the roles at home, and nudges the slider just enough to test the limits. His provisional moral can be summed up in a punchy line: to live happily, live hidden — and perhaps a little far from your wife and children.

Co-written with Paul-Marie Debrie and Jérôme Daran, this solo runs 90 minutes. A tone of complicity in the writing and a strong taste for self-deprecation make for an intimate stand-up, in which we follow a man determined to understand what happiness means when you share everything, including frayed nerves and the toys left lying around.
