Big Thief

Big Thief takes L’Olympia in Paris on April 17, 2026. The American indie-folk quartet, led by Adrianne Lenker’s singular voice alongside Buck Meek, Max Oleartchik and James Krivchenia, moves between spare folk and organic rock. Interlocking guitars, supple drumming and an anchored bass: their songs advance in small jolts, between roughness and tenderness, without frills. From Masterpiece and Capacity to U.F.O.F., Two Hands and Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You, the band has built a wide, shifting repertoire where direct songwriting dialogues with rawer textures.

On stage, Big Thief favors nuance and collective listening: charged silences, gradual build-ups, details that come to the surface, a dynamic that lets each voice and instrument breathe. On the bill are shadow-and-light ballads, riffs that ignite and acoustic interludes, all carried by a careful attention to sound and to the moment.
