On April 29, 2026 at Le Spot Macon, Anne Roumanoff presents L’expérience de la vie, a show that scrutinizes our routines and the small upheavals of daily life. With her keen eye for observation, she explores supermarket self-checkouts, self-help manuals, the instability of romantic relationships, and shifts in language. She doesn’t judge; she watches how society is changing and how each person slips into it. Straddling stand-up and character work, she pieces together scenes rooted in familiar situations, captured in the moment, where gestures, words and reflexes speak to the times. Gil Galliot’s staging supports this motion, alternating brisk rhythms with more measured moments to make room for the details of everyday life. By and with Anne Roumanoff, L’expérience de la vie offers an attentive, direct look at what occupies us, from the hypermarket to the living room, from couple dynamics to screens.
