Info

Originally from Regina, Saskatchewan, The Dead South move between folk, bluegrass, Americana and country. No frills, the band plays tightly: banjo crackling, mandolin twirling, guitar precise as a line and cello providing a gritty bass, all carried by three-part harmonies. Their songs tell of betrayals, ghosts and murderous ballads with a subtle humor and a sharp sense of storytelling. Whatever the label, their acoustic signature — raw and exact — is quickly recognizable, built from galloping riffs and images that stick.

On 25 March 2026 at Le Bikini in Ramonville-Saint-Agne, The Dead South return to the stage with a set that alternates between rushes and lulls, choruses that are easy to sing along to and percussive breaks that slam the floor. Around them, the Good Company community has formed over the course of tours, united by songs that travel easily from one audience to another. Whether you come for the taut picking, the tight harmonies or the minimalist energy of the arrangements, the offer is clear: a concert centered on the power of live performance and storytelling, with no artifices.
