Gospel Pour 100 Voix

On March 15, 2026, the Zénith de Toulon welcomes Gospel Pour 100 Voix. This choir brings together around one hundred performers around a gospel repertoire, from standards to rearranged soul and pop covers. On stage, lead vocals and the chorus engage in call-and-response, supported by a rhythm section and tight harmonies that shape the concert’s dynamics. The group espouses a contemporary approach to gospel, blending collective fervor, pronounced grooves and claps that set the tempo.

Gospel Pour 100 Voix draws as much on traditional African-American spirituals as on reworked contemporary songs, with medleys and transitions designed to give both soloists and the ensemble room to breathe. The arrangements play on contrasts, alternating choral power with more intimate moments to highlight timbres, textures and polyphony. In Toulon, the ensemble presents a fluid and generous set, conceived to share the energy of a large choir and the richness of a repertoire where gospel meets soul and pop, without losing its roots.
