Avatar arrives at Zénith Paris on 7 March 2026 with their theatrical metal and a taste for dark staging. Formed in Gothenburg, the Swedish band led by Johannes Eckerström has honed a sound that fuses heavy power, massive groove and instantly memorable choruses. Behind the frontman—a ringmaster with a chameleon-like voice—John Alfredsson, Jonas Jarlsby, Henrik Sandelin and Tim Öhrström stitch together razor-sharp riffs, syncopated breaks and taut melodies cut for the stage.

On stage, Avatar cultivates a black cabaret where irony flirts with brutality, balancing guitar choreographies, tempo changes and suspended moments. The setlist draws from twenty-five years of work, from early scorchers to recent tracks, without nostalgia or gratuitous display, with a sense of contrast that flips the pit from singalongs to full-impact intensity. The 2026 tour promises a renewed production, conceived as a total spectacle in which sound, lights and visuals support the band’s dramaturgy without smothering what matters most: the songs and the energy.
