D'Jal returns with an all-new show, conceived as a journey through his favourite characters and situations everyone can relate to. On stage he slips into different personas, switching accents and shifts of tone, moving from a neighbourhood anecdote to a family story, from a travel memory to an everyday struggle. His writing blends observation and play, with back-and-forths between stand-up and sketches and a touch of improv that keeps the audience on its toes.

He maintains a brisk tempo that allows him to bring an entire gallery of characters to life in a matter of minutes without losing the thread. Between misunderstandings, comic mix-ups and imagined dialogues, D'Jal plays with words, the music of languages and the small incongruities that make you smile. You don't need to be a long-time fan to follow along; he establishes his characters quickly and leaves room for surprises, without being heavy-handed.
