Info
On October 13, 2026, Pip Millett plays New Century in Manchester for a set that leans into her calm, close-up way of doing contemporary R&B and neo-soul. Born in the city, she’s built a signature around hushed vocals, slow-burning grooves and lyrics that feel like private conversations, always more about nuance than big gestures.
If you’ve followed her run of EPs from Do Well to Lost In June, or later releases like Motion Sick and When Everything Is Better, I’ll Let You Know, you know how she stretches her sound without losing that restrained tone. Live, that balance lands differently: warmer, more direct, with melodies that sit in the room and stories that unfold line by line. Expect a night for people who like their soul modern, uncluttered, and quietly emotional.
