On 11 February 2027 at L’Antipode (Rennes), Enslaved and Sólstafir share the bill for a date that promises a genuine journey across extremes, between Nordic heritage and extended formats.
On the Enslaved side, the Norwegians continue to push the boundaries of black metal since the 1990s, opening it up to progressive constructions, psychedelic textures, and more contemplative passages. This tour accompanies Mið, a new chapter in their discography, in keeping with the transitional atmospheres already explored on Utgard and Heimdal.
Sólstafir, hailing from Reykjavík, arrives with its own distinctive way of blurring genres: post-metal, atmospheric rock, and more melodic forays, often buoyed by Icelandic vocals. The band defends Hin helga kvöl, a record that preserves that expansive and immersive melancholy, crafted for the stage.
Opening, Gaahls Wyrd brings its ritual and introspective take on black metal, between tension, meticulously crafted atmospheres, and a progressive dynamism.
