Info
Bénabar returns to the stage with that singular knack for telling life as it unfolds: small quirks, intimate moments of a couple, family meals, colleagues, the absurdities of daily life. His songs move forward like mini-films, propelled by precise writing, funny without forcing it, and a very direct way of addressing the audience.
On the line between pop, swing and touches of light jazz, he lays out simple melodies that leave ample space for the characters and the details. Expect a concert where the storytelling matters as much as the music, with his unmistakable tempo, both tender, lucid and biting.
See you on February 13, 2027 at the Espace René-Cassin - La Gare, in Fontenay-le-Comte, to experience a French song that speaks truthfully, without showy effects, but with a rare attention to the stories we all recognize.
